For your child’s Key Person time, we would like your child to talk about something you have grown in the past. If you have a picture you can bring this in. This could be a sunflower grown at nursery.
For our Christmas party we needed to write invitations, decide which party games we were going to play, discuss what makes a bad winner and a bad loser, make a party hat and make a repeating pattern fruit kebab as a fun healthy treat. The Year 1s even made Strawberry Santas.
It was very yummy!!
When making our Paddington Bears, we used lots of different techniques such as, pinching, squeezing, rolling, patting, smoothing, cutting, pulling and carving to manipulate the clay. The children followed the instructions to create their bears. Don’t they look great!!!
